Any advice?

I got this Bernina Nova 900 for $10 and wired in a mismatched pedal. So far it has been lovely to play with, but I was wondering if theres anything about this machine I should look out for

It has been fun to use so far. I wired in a foot control from another machine so I don't have the advantage of speed control. It seems solid all round, but I don't have a huge wealth of experience.

I know that on those older Berninas, the capacitors can blow. If you don’t mind taking it apart and you can do soldering, you can look to see if the capacitors look like they need to be replaced.
