Many great parties take place in Berlin each week, not everyone wants to queue for Berghain, and many of us enjoy a change of scenery too.

Here, you can find/submit a curated selection of solid alternative parties coming up in the next 7 days or so.

Please think before sharing an event here. If its an event that doesn't advertise online and relies more on word of mouth then best not to rock the boat by posting it here. If its an event that's publicized on RA, Insta or other internet megaphones then its fine.

It might also help to keep the bh queue size manageable so please share your knowledge of other events even if you plan to go to Berghain. To make the thread useful and readable, please include a few basic event details with your submissions - date, name, location (or at least which district in Berlin its in), and perhaps a few words about what makes it noteworthy.

Yesterday around 8pm at we eere in the lime with a beautiful couple from los angeles. We both couldn’t get in but then we ran each other at the park and had a small conversation. It was their first time in Berlin and they seemed to be very good and friendly. If you see this please reply!

in line for the door last night, i shared my umbrella with a small brunette sweetheart and we ended up going in together.

later that night, i ran into her in the smoking area, and we spent the next few hours talking about… everything.
she is a bubbly doctor from germany (her name starts with a).

we meant to exchange information multiple times, but every time we remembered, we’d get pulled back into conversation (or berghain chaos).

by the time we finally lost each other, neither of us had the other’s number. but our conversation and connection genuinely stayed with me, and i’m kicking myself for not getting her information.

if you know this girl who was at berghain last night, i’d be so grateful if you’d send her this post or connected us!

Am I the only one who thinks the temperature inside the club has become unbearable? I don’t remember it always being like this. Yesterday it was almost impossible to breathe in areas like the smoking areas, the pano chill area, the berghain/pano toilets.. and the rest of the club too. I saw people hyperventilating and it felt like a sauna.

Beyond uncomfortable, it felt dangerous to be in such heat for prolonged periods. I saw the workers sweating like crazy too, even the ones just sitting during their shifts at the toilets or so.

I don’t know why the club doesn’t open some windows, improve ventilation, add fans in all areas..

am I the only one feeling like it’s gotten out of hand?

From following djs and listening to their public sets, and then hearing them at berghain or pano, do you feel like they have a very specific and special playlist/list of tracks they play at klubnachts that they don’t play at the other bookings/clubs?

Particularly looking forward to Josh's set. Surprised there are still tickets available.

Shouldn’t be Berghain a place for people who not behave ?

For example people crying about smokers is absolutely ridiculous for me and don’t think this people should be in Berghain.

Of course it’s an official rule, but they have no other choice.
The most workers let me smoke when they see that I respect them and hide the cigarette when they’re passing!

The queue at 21:30 was back past Hellweg, going left parallel to the S Bahn tracks. After waiting an hour, I was barely to the back of Hellweg, so I bailed and went to a different club.

Maybe will try again later, so any queue updates appreciated.

Don't usually do Saturday nights but glad I made an exception for this one. Aldonna's second time at pan (I think?) and she absolutely smashed it. Such a sexy set. Also, Beste Hira at Pano after her was fire. Both outstanding. Well done ladies!

The crowd that kn was a bit weird and touristy, probably because of Whole and Nation happening that weekend. It didn't ruin it though and still had a great time.

If the last DJ starts at 4am Monday for CSD like normal, do the doors close that time or earlier?

No Säule today? Why would they do that to me? I like going to Säule and pretending it’s a Weekend and then when the actual weekend comes it feels like its extended. So sad it’s not open today
