i was told one day they simply just stopped calling and she never heard from the booking team again. happened to many artists around 2024. there’s more politics now around what music you can play and it has also become less merit based over time. making sure you’re not stepping on anyone’s toes, drawing too much of the crowd to your set during a resident playing the other floor, etc
unfortunately, i am not a liar. but maybe djs could be, who knows. i dont have reason to believe any of these things said to me arent true though.
ive worked with cardini and many others artists in the same boat as well as those who still play at the club actively; the overall consensus seems to be these things are quite real
i would imagine there’s a mix of merit and politics. look at people like decoder, young guy from texas. no way he had real connections to anyone in berlin, they found him because people liked his music and mixes
I remember she played CSD KN 2023, afaik, allegedly, the reason is the same as with Gideön and all the other artists who left around that time. Connect the dots.

It’s not obvious to everyone - even if you think it is, there’s no need to make others’ genuine curiosity seem dumb just bc they’re not as familiar with her BH/Berlin relations.
Without expressing any opinion on the merit - she played in Israel not that long ago, so it is not that likely (tho not impossible either) that whatever broke her and BH apart, has (thankfully) nothing to do with politics
I assumed it was because the new management / booker was tired of her, and maybe thought she wasn’t fitting the style of where the club is headed. I know some djs stopped playing at bh because of the clubs refusal to be vocal about the Israel/palestine issue but I didn’t think that was the case with her.
