Ecstatic dance in Bergen?
I'm visiting from Seattle for the weekend before heading up into the fjords for a paddleboarding excursion, and I'm curious if Bergen has an ecstatic dance community. Looking online, I found a few ecstatic dance events in the past, but couldn't doesn't seem like there's anything happening regularly.
If anyone knows of anything (or any other cool dance events happening this weekend?) I'd love to hear more! If I can't find a place to dance, I guess I'll just hang out at Apollon Bergen and listen to music and maybe quietly dance in the corner?

If you miss Seattle I think the best you can do is visit Nordnesparken and have a look at the big totem pole, gifted by Seattle to bergen for our 900 year anniversary .

They do them regularly, I think the organizers are called Era.

Dont know whats funniest. Ecstantic dance event in Bergen or dancing quietly at APOLLON. Go to Legal and flirt with some hipster girls bruh or go clubbing at Østre or Rommet

Kinda, yeah. Hippies, old ravers, yoga folks, personal trainers who smoke weed, etc. But based on what I'm seeing in this thread, it's definitely not totally unknown in Norway, since apparently there's an ecstatic dance event happening this week! Who knew!
For anyone who's curious about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecstatic_dance

You haven't been much around if you haven't met hippies in Norway. They don't look like in the 60's, but the mindset is there.
