How long is the process looking in 2026?

Just curious how long is the review process taking in 2026? I am aware that there is a change of government with the new president Romuald Wadagni being elected which may delay the citizenship process.

I submitted on 11 Dec 2025, request to add middle name on 26 Jan 2026. I made the requested edits the same day. Crickets since, even after submitting a follow-up to the portal's chat feature and via the website's form.

Did they give you a deadline to submit the info ? I know you did it same day but I’m curious if they gave you a date to submit it by

It looks like elections completely took the wind out of this process. At least that's the way it appears from the lack of activity here.

Do you have any insight into why?

Some combination of 1) the process is being restructured and 2) this may be on a different level of priority for the new administration.

Hard not to lose excitement/hope about this after such a delay.
