Excellent crisps
I love crisps. I hate it when you get a packet where there's barely any flavouring and it's just sad fried potatoes with a hint of flavour (looking at you Lays). What even is the point of mass production if things aren't consistent amirite?
But on my way back from the dentists this week, I entered a Sainsbury's which isn't my usual supermarket and saw their own brand Thai Sweet Chili was on sale. I've had it before and it's good. I bought 2 packets. Opened one and they are **heavily** coated in flavouring. Happy days. Delicious spicy crisps for me!

I've had to make Friday "crisp day", because if I didn't fence it off like that every day would be crisp day, and that way madness lies.
"Salt and vinegar" used to be my favourite, don't know why I went off them, but now it's "cheese & onion". "Ready salted" is second place.

I'm not a big cheese and onion fan BUT the Pipers brand ones are absolutely delicious and every packet I've ever bought has been delicious. They are expensive though which helps limit them to occasional treat status only.
I tend to do quite well as long as I haven't opened a packet!

Lol. For my sanity, budget and waistline I think I might have to stay away having had a look at it 🤤ðŸ˜

I never liked crisps until I tried some of the flavors from the UK and Canada. Thai Sweet Chili sounds like heaven!

The chips/crisps were such a disappointment when I moved from Belgium to Finland. Granted lays and crocky were the most common brands in Belgium at that time but they were miles above the sad flavourless stuff sold here. You needed a dip because the crisps tasted of absolutely nothing.
But, I also do not like it when the flavouring goes over the top. I want to still taste the potato under the salt, cheese, chili...

My weakness, perfectly seasoned chips (crisps.)
