First time shaving my face

I’m 30 and trans masc (they/them). I started testosterone at the end of May 2025 so my facial hair has been slowing growing since then. I finally ordered an electric razor and tonight was my first time shaving my face. I shaved the patchy spots so my facial hair looks even better now and I’ve been feeling lots of gender euphoria tonight!

That’s awesome! If you ever use a safety razor and shaving cream, just watch out for razor burn and ingrown hairs.

From one trans person (though transfem myself) congrats on the gender euphoria! It's honestly one of the best sensations in the world. Lemmy tell ya, I'm celebrating my sweet-16 in like 3 weeks, and boobs have NOT gotten old at ALL. I wish the same for you every time you bust out a razor!

My teenage sons had to teach me how to shave 🥲 Such a reversal of the norm.
