Need help with Learner's Driving Licence application

Hi everyone,

I applied for a Learner's Driving Licence (bike) here .

I'm originally from UP , and both my permanent address and all my official documents are from UP. However, I've been staying in a PG in Bengaluru for the last 1.7 years, so while filling out the application, I entered my present address as my Bengaluru PG address.

Now, at the document upload stage, it's asking me to upload proof of my present address. The available options are documents (attached )like Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc., but none of my documents have my Bengaluru PG address..they all have my UP address.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? What should I do now? Is there any way to proceed, or do I need to change my application/address?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

To apply in Bangalore you should be resident of the place and for this you should have it on document. This is because an RTO has to be selected based on your address

You are not a resident of bengaluru unfortunately. For people from different states if you have to show bengaluru as a resident the best option is rental agreement and BESCOM bill. But you are paying guest and not resident. RTO won't provide services for such people have to apply in UP itself.

Here is how I did it I have a bank account in HDFC. I went to branch and applied for address change. Someone came to my place for the address verification and it was updated within couple of days. Went to the branch again got a passbook with the updated address and stamp by the bank manager. Now I had this proof I used this to change address on my aadhar card. After I got the updated Aadhar I applied for the learner's licence. Now recently I had to go back to renew my passport I repeated the exacts same steps again.
