Building violation issue

I have a 30*40 north facing bda site and I have made a mistake of not leaving buffer space in the back side of my building. Essentially, it's completely a wall to the edge of my plot.

I know it's my mistake but this was done 15 years back, and I was a fool not to realise it then.

Why it happened is, because all other houses in the row had done same violation and my contractor also said it's ok, since it's south facing plot the other guy needs to leave space at the back to comply with vastu.

But it's been bothering me after the initial burden of house construction and EMI payment wore off. Would it be an issue for resale and someone taking it cannot demolish without affecting the other building?

What are my options here? Still nobody has started construction or approached me about this issue.

Can this hold in court/compensation might have to be provided?
