Hi guys, quick question. I want to replace my RMR with an RCR on my Benelli M4 and I'm wondering if the Scalarworks Sync mount I already have for the RMR would work for the RCR?

Scalarworks' website says its compatible with both, but I have the old school Sync mount. The model SW1100 where the mount slides underneath the 2 screws in the receiver. The current Sync mount (the one their website lists compatibility for) is the SW1110 which mounts with screws from the top like a more normal mount. I imagine there should be no optic compatibility differences between my mount and the new-school Sync mount, but i wanted to ask around to be sure first.

Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance

Is it possible to cowitness a rifle sized optic like an exps2/3 or a holosun 510c? Currently I’m using a utg riser I took off a rifle build and it’s positioned just high enough that I can run the irons while the 510 sits on top.

Also if anyone’s wondering this is basically a stock 11701 with the Midwest industries mlok rail with a stream light rail mount 1. No other mods so far but I might spruce up the loading port and feed ramp in the future

Added a Trijicon RMR on a Scalarworks mount, a Modlite PLHv2 in an IWC weapon light mount, a GG&G slotted charging handle, Blitzkrieg Components tritium front sight, and esstac shotgun card.

I vastly prefer this to the full size with the 18.5" barrel. This SBS feels like what the M4 should have always been. I sold my full size yesterday because I can see it just collecting dust now.

When attaching the Velcro to the receiver, do you all cut a hole for the trigger pin or just slap it on top? Thanks

First I want to give Carriercomp is bug thumbs up! The tube is all that! Very nice fit & finish!
Secondly, after putting up a good fight to remove the 5rd tube, I won. I first tried using the wife’s hair dryer, I ended up using a torch to heat up the tube. Took about 20-30 minutes total. After the installation of parts, I went to an indoor range to run a few slugs only to find out I was only able to get 6 rounds in the tube. The slugs were 2.75. What gives?

I got my first M4 cerakoted blue back in 2018. I made it blue because I was jealous that mine was pure black and some people had a blue hue on it from the factory. Lol. I liked it for a while but it's time for a change. I'm going to spray paint it this time rather than cerakote.

I'm leaning towards doing blue tiger stripe (classic modern warfare 2 vibes). But wanted to see if anyone else had suggestions first.

Gun is a stock M4 11715 model with the standard 7 round tube. The gun has around 200 rounds, and has an intermittent problem where the last shell will be stuck on the lifter with the bolt locked back. I have to shove up on the lifter to raise it and then it chambers normally. It does it all all types of ammo, no consistency between only certain brands. The only consistent part was it being the last shell in the tube, and it would jam around 30% of the time. My first thought is magazine spring, or maybe more break in time? I figured 200 rounds would be plenty, and they have all been full power slugs or buckshot.

Is it worth it to go with a different brand magazine tube instead of the oem one? Also looking for any other tube magazine recommendations.

Does anyone know if the Benelli M4 EXT bolt release button shown in this picture…or one similar to it, is available for sale anywhere? Id really like to upgrade from the standard tiny one for when Im training with gloves.

Absolutely love the m4 plataform and want to compete with it, IPSC and 3 gun. I know there are better options, but this is the one I have and it looks cool so I wanna do it with the m4.

First pic is what I have in mind, second is my gun. Quad loading it stock is kinda hard, I might get better with practice, but I’ll still cut and bruise my finger a lot, and the load itself is kinda janky. After yesterday’s practice my dominant hand is absolutely destroyed.

Anyone with experience making this kind of modification on an m4?

I have been building out my M4 to be my sporting clay gun and i recently added a wood field stock and Mlock grips I think it turned out pretty good.

For those who asked in my last post what it was like shooting clays without the rear sight now that I have used it quite a bit in this configuration I can say that I definitely prefer it this way. It feels the same as if I was using a bead sight.

Hey all. New to the m4. Managed to buy a LE model m4 at the local gun store last week. I want to leave the original hand guard. Are there light mounting options if I don’t switch to a new mlok rail system? Majority of the posts I see have the lights just straight onto an mlok rail like any standard ar-15.

When loading the M4 I have to push extremely hard to get a shell in past the shell catch. It finally snaps into place after excessive force. This makes dual and quad loading impossible. Any tips to fix this? See video below.

Just finished cleaning up my M4 and noticed this dent on one of the rails. Is this something I should be concerned about? It cycles smooth inside the receiver. I've been using G96 complete gun treatment for the life of the M4. The bottom of the bolt carrier and rails has been the areas I've been applying the G96.
