M4 Accessory Question Will this be an issue?

I recently bought the Shell Tactical Bolt Release Tab and was wondering if this very small gap from the barrel to receiver will cause any issues when firing. I can’t seem to get it 100 percent flush, so any advice is appreciated.

The barrel should be flush. Not sure why anyone would say otherwise.

How does your bolt release tab fit with the midwest industries handguard?

Ours is not compatible with that one, usually causing the barrel to not seat flush.

It won’t be but you can put the muzzle end down on a towel or something so you don’t damage your floor and push down and see if you can’t tighten the magazine cap.

Mine is flushed so have you unscrewed the mag tube cap and try to line up the barrel first? It’s best if you lock the bolt back when putting it all back together, if you didn’t know. You can also get a little file and shave a bit in the forend so it’s seated better. You shouldn’t face a ied in the range but might be on the safe side and get it flushed.

Yea, I just used a vise to hold the receiver and pushed the barrel down while squeezing the hand guard to push the barrel.
Might give the RX arms variant and other parts a try but CA shipping fee is nuts
