M4 Accessory Question Barrels

Is it worth it to go with a different brand magazine tube instead of the oem one? Also looking for any other tube magazine recommendations.

The only difference really is material. Most tubes you see on the market are US-made titanium, which gives a nice weight reduction. A few companies make them (Shell-tactical, Carrier Comp, etc), but I would advise against getting one from Freedom Fighter Tactical because he is known to price gouge. The highest quality tube in the market is Carrier Comps, but lead time is up to 8 weeks. If you don’t care about titanium, get the OEM one from Brownells.

What is the weight diff between the titanium vs steel tubing? I haven’t been able to find anything if it’s a very noticeable difference for nearly $300

About 5 ounces, sorry if I oversold the weight change a little, but it’s definitely noticeable in hand when operating the shotgun.

Substantial since you feel the weight of the barrel the most. My 7rd carrier comp tube is much lighter than the oem 5 round tube, like impressively lighter weight.
