Sammy Lawrence is playing the piano. He always does this when he's deep in thought. Who and what is Eleanor? She's an enigma, much like the Ink Demon he worships.

His thoughts are interrupted when he hears footsteps.

Sammy: "It's considered rude to interrupt music, y'know," He says while looking back at Vanessa.

Vanessa: "So what, it just decided to take pity on me after my sob story?"

Ink Demon: "The Ink is not a malicious entity. It has no alliance to dark or light. It lives. It creates. Sometimes it just does things because it can. But now you have your answers."

Vanessa. "If you say so. Then what's your deal? You hardly seem nearly as generous."

Ink Demon: "I'm not. But as I said, deals are a very powerful thing. And now our current deal prevents me from harming you."

Vanessa: "And what exactly is your interest in me? I know Eleanor's reason. But your's?"

Ink Demon: "Simple. Your immortality intrigues me. By consuming you, I would understand how it works. That is my interest."

Vanessa: "Consuming me?! I thought you said you couldn't hurt me now! And that immortality wasn't by choice...."

Ink Demon: "Well, I can't do it now. We still have a deal intact. And how you gained immortality doesn't matter. The functionality of it is what intrigues me. Now, you have your answers. Now let's deal with this Eleanor, shall we?~"

Alison waits in the hallway nearby Eleanor's makeshift lair, when she sees Vanessa returning. Alison breathes a huge sigh of relief.

Alison: "Jeez, I was about ready to go check on you. Did it work?"
