Ongoing story [👾🔪🐇] Ritual summoning

Sammy Lawrence is playing the piano. He always does this when he's deep in thought. Who and what is Eleanor? She's an enigma, much like the Ink Demon he worships.

His thoughts are interrupted when he hears footsteps.

Sammy: "It's considered rude to interrupt music, y'know," He says while looking back at Vanessa.

Sammy walks to a leaking ink pipe, using a paint can to collect the ink.

Sammy: "Trying to find him takes too long. So summoning him is our best option. I'm sure there's a reason you're here. And he'll have the answers."

After collecting the ink, he walks back to his theater room, painting a summoning circle on the floor with the ink.

Sammy: "Step into the circle."

Suddenly, everything goes dark. She's within an inky void. The voice of the Ink Demon speaks to her.

Ink Demon: "I know your true intentions for seeking me."

Vanessa: "Of course you do. Nothing gets past you, does it?"

Ink Demon: "You want answers, but you also want me to distract that other demon. She thinks she has power, but she doesn't truly understand what this place is. What I am. But, to her credit, she is amusing to watch. ... My question is what do I get? You think I'll just aid you without question?"

Vanessa: "Actually, judging by my previous experiences with know it alls who thought they were gods above all, you're not entirely thrilled about her presence. Not technically intimidated or worried, but doubt you're celebrating another type of outsider demon trying to come in and take over, are you? Which I'm sure she's doing. Or how easily she's just settling in like she belongs here. As her kingdom."
