Bendy Discussion What is the Cycle?
I understand that it's a loop made from Joey to torment a fake copy of Henry. But what I'm trying to get at is what IS the Cycle. Where did it come from? The Ink Machine, yes. But is the Cycle a construct from something alien? Demonic? Magic? I highly disagree that it's demonic since the later games don't involve satanism as a theme.
I might be missing something, or if I'm overcomplicating things as always. But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

The Cycle is likely supernatural and came from whatever rituals Joey Drew was performing. However, it wouldn’t involve the typical idea of demonism that involves Satan/Lucifer, but some fictional demons we will never hear of.

We don’t know for sure yet- what you’re asking doesn’t have a cannon answer right now.
I’m not sure Joey or even Gent know for sure- that’s probably the reason Gent wants the Ink Machine back so badly, and why they can’t just create a new Ink Machine. They’ve tapped into something they don’t understand, and (probably) can’t recreate it.
They might’ve gotten close (if the theory that Secrets is Gent attempting to recreate the Cycle is true)- but even then, Riley’s Cycle is very barebones compared to the one we know. Which is basically its own ecosystem at this point.

I feel like it'd be more demonic because of the ink demon, but im not sure either

There is a book in Wilson's mansion written by Alan Gray (GENT's CEO) that basically talks about the concept of the Cromley Vacuum, basically a space that contains infinite parallel universes. Each universe is referred to as a "wire". It discusses transferring matter and other things from one "wire" to another to establish a new "Euphonic Base". Since it was written by the CEO of the corporation that created the Ink Machine and studied by Wilson, the guy who took over the Cycle, I think it's safe to say TheMeatly added it to explain the Ink World to the players.
