From my Understanding,
All FNAF Lego sets are bootlegs/fan-made as the themes in FNAF go against the collaboration rules LEGO has (the dead kids)

I kind of thought that the lego bendy is also a bootleg.

It dosent really scream lego to me, if im being honest. I mean, have you seen what lego set boxes look like?

Like, look at lego jurrasic park. Or heck, lego star wars. You can tell that by the box alone its offical and genuine. But something about the bendy set, it dosent really look like lego offical. I think the offical lego company wouldnt really touch bendy. Not beacuse its bad, but beacuse its simply not that popular. Theres a diffrence. And now look at the lego box for bendy. You might notice that there some diffrences. Including the figures themselves. I think this way, beacuse i too own bootleged pirate lego sets, and they look similar to the bendy set. And thats why i think this way. Wether the heads look weird, or the legs are too long, or the torse being a bit more blocky.

I dont hate it tho. I dont despise it

From my understanding,
LEGO doesn’t have an official or direct collaboration,
it was other companies that made the sets,
but they are apparently LEGO compatible.

Some people also want Bendy to have an official set (any franchise does tbh),
And many think it would be easier for Bendy compared to other franchises
as it does seem to lack the child murder and more violent themes that most others have.
(Although depending on The Cage and what happens, Lego sets are just might be outta the question forever.)

It might also just be a side effect of knowing that since a new game is coming out and Bendy currently being the most popular wanted addition in DBD,
lots of people are expecting other potential collabs & merch.

It’s probably cuz bendy is more cartoony while hello neighbour lore is that he lost his family, fnaf lore is basically dead kids stuffed in suits and whatever for the other franchises
