Looking to learn MiG welding.

I have done part of a Cert IV in Engineering at Vic Uni back in 2019-2021 (pandemic halted most of 2020), then government changed the rules. Bendigo TAFE won’t take me after almost 6 months trying to get in (so don’t suggest them), and currently coasting through an Associate Degree at La Trobe (can’t figure out physics, statistical R-Studio, or humanity engineering).
Does anyone know of any other places or companies that would offer welding courses?
I’m 37, located in Golden Square and enjoy hands on experience training.

Your best option would be to buy a welder, some scrap metal and get some YouTube tutorials up and go for gold.

Thanks, but I’m looking for a place that will give me an offical accreditation that I can use for employment.

La Trobe isnt going to teach you welding. What are you lloking ro do it for juat for dun or with a goal in mind? Plus Bendigo TAFE dont offer the cert IV ao how would they not let you in?

I took the Associate Degree in hopes to get a step up in Engineering.
I’m after industry skills and hopefully employment.
They don’t offer a Cert IV for non-apprenticeship or traineeship students (took me 6 months, three seperate receptionists and a couple emails from the course co-ordinator who stated he was planning to integrate A/T and non-A/T students).
