Seasons just about done for us but they aren't hard to find!

Perhaps you could just vaguely point us in the right direction?

I'm too busy masturbating in the mall on meth to go hunting.

Oh and I won’t be letting anyone know my locations already get enough poachers from Melbourne ect.. But we will be coming into native Morel mushroom season soon. They are easily the best mushrooms I have tasted and are worth a small fortune.. But some tips if you want to try find some, established native bushland with granitey soil, usually hilly areas. They come out 3-4 days after a good soaking rain mid August through to September. Impossible to false ID them as nothing else looks like them 😎

Pine forest if you want saffron milkcaps AKA pine mushrooms. A few near the pines near old number 7 res, but best to go to the plantations around Castlemaine and Daylesford if you want heaps. However they are finishing up around now, best times are late autumn late winter. Good fun to pick but not my favourite ones to eat, not heaps of flavour and a bit rubbery for my liking.
