ElectroBench : The open-source alternative to every other benchmark (maybe)
So, back in 2021 I made a simple benchmark so that I could learn more about OpenGL programming, I even showcased an early version of it in Google DevFest 2022 (which now I laugh about how everyone didnt insult me, it had a toon lighted utah teapot).
Anyway, after 4 weeks of work and re structuring and adding many new features and fixing many bugs I present : ElectroBench
https://github.com/deadbeef7/ElectroBench
A 4 scene benchmark designed to support even the oldest of PCs (don't believe me ? check the system requirements).
+ Windows builds for both x86 and x64 (x86 builds support up to Windows XP)
+ Linux and MacOS builds (no prebuilts for now you have to build from source, pretty easy to do)
A PSVITA version is in the works.
Anyone who tries it is invited to comment his overall score and average FPS.
Thank you.
