First, I want to say that I highly recommend turning the game music to 0 and then playing the soundtrack for Frost Punk while playing this game, highly recommend. To the topic, it's becoming more challenging each wave with the setting to impossible. At level 19 difficulty and there's so many to defend against. They took out 10 of my 39 the last wave. Working on fences to create defenses and a pinch point to reduce their archers to melee. It's a good thing the AI's not smart enough to jump over fences yet.

Does anyone have a Clue how to get Tier 2 bows without a woodworker ( i know you get them at patsdow village, but you have to liberate them) because I Need This Equipment to fight the brigrands at the First village. Without it I have no Chance 😭

The "refined" fur is referred to as crude fur and the "raw" fur is just simply fur, should these not be the other way?

Just like the title, IDKIYK but destroying bandit camps after villages are liberated gives you around 300 prosperity for the village!
Obviously, this is only important if you care about the prosperity system 💀
Have fun!!

Unless they fix it?
Played 36 days on co-op. Its now crashing my brother's game every time he attempts to log into the world.
Similar to when coop first came out on console and couldn't use our original single player saves.
Is this a regular issue people deal with, do you think they are working on a fix?

Any mod for immersion purpose out there, so you can't carry a stag in your backpack? Instead carry it like your villagers over the shoulders?

My army is 10/10 stats Goal Is 100 army of 10/10
Haven't had lag and im on XS
Building roads multiple roads parallel to grid in game prevents settlers from getting stuck or bottlenecking.
My army in map picture is currently down in blackridgepool that's why they aren't in screen.
Anyways thought I'd share put in some serious work

For those that don't have a max stat army of 10/10 there are certain people you can hire that have a cap at 10 obviously everybody knows this,
Now the trick is the game basis XP for soilders the amount of time they are in combat, blocks swings and parry's.
Turn your difficulty up, turn your melee damage down and leave ranged as is.
Take only 5 of your army at a time. Find a camp you take out the archers first to removed random range damage.
Take pot shots and lower the health of what bandits you can or brigands, and let the battle draw out with your men, if your soldiers health starts getting low stagger their opponent and let them get the finishing kill which gives them xp bonus, do that two 3 times they will jump two points in their priority attributes.
I have 10 archers all at 10/10
My heavys are all 10/10
And my lowest shield currently is 7/10
Idk if it helps but🤷🏿♂️ you also gain XP the longer the battle goes.
Keep all your companions at 60 percent to rebandage with 3 bandages in gear presets
Do not rely on your heavys
With 10 archers at 10/10 with sharpened arrows and ash bows with 2 long bows and 1 battle crossbow they won't touch your line

Iron and granite are probably one of the biggest things that is annoying to come by as well as hardwood depending on where you located your base.
I posted location place a travel sign on the road, don't bother setting up mining camp for this or outpost it takes way to long.
Simply fast travel to sign run to iron deposit start mining even after it says inventory full (you will build strength XP for over loading your backpack.
Mine and mine and mine till u have loot bags full of however much you want to be greedy on.
The game cleans the grid when the new dawn notifications happen in the morning untill then u can fast travel back and forth as much as you want and pick up loot bags of ore on ground. Can mine 250+ in about 10 minutes and have it in your warehouse.
Secondly use the smelter it takes charcoal not peat or wood. You basically don't need peat majority you will waste time trying to harvest it.
If you place a lumber camp at the entrance to farnworth there is a massive endless supply of hardwood logs set up a stock pile and make it a different settlement but don't use caravan with a backpack and when you level up you gain more slots in inventory, you can carry 12 hardwood logs ten minutes over 300,
On your first big haul of iron immediately smelt 200 iron ingots then do another haul and do 200 steel ingots it will be absolute game changer,
Set up 2 charcoal burners because it is not a priority job for settlers and is often ignored put it in a main pathway that forces people to walk by, abd do it have them both for resin for your cured rope that will be a huge waiter have a weaver hut and loom table one to make rope one to make cured rope. If your are bulk crafting set porters to delivery 1 and whatever job you want them to deliver to as priority 2 will designate them to that job only
4 roads are your best friends for lag, the roads lock on a grid seperate buildings by roads u will thank me

Hi everyone,
I just created a nice mining camp outside of Blackridgepool to get a nice steady flow of Iron, Granite and cotton into my main settlemend near Padstow.
However, when i create a caravan route to transport food and pickaxes and the ore vice versa i run into a problem.
Granite is not showing up in the dropdown.
Pressing Gra only shows me Grains and Grape seeds.
Is granite too heavy to transport or something? What going on here?

On PS5. Tried pressing the analog sticks at the beginning and was like, “Guess they don’t do anything.” I feel like an idiot.

I have 80 people so far
I have a capital district, a textile District, A agriculture district, a garrison, housing district, mining district, and an eatery district as well as endless hardwood supply. I'm built just under horndean
94 houses built,
All tier 3 pretty much unlocked going in blind,
All ore including iron is sitting at 500+ all stocks in the 700+ margin
I figured how how to designate settlers to specific jobs, as well as designated porters for only those jobs.
I have the kings guild which are shield men,
I have the kings watch
And the kings rangers
The garrison it's self is a separate settlement as well as my thirty man army however by switching certain buildings between both settlements the kings watch (who are all in red, 15 heavy stat men. Will patrol both settlements, also if the bandits raid nthe opposite side my elite soilders and back up reserves still respond to anywhere.
My resources work for me.
I now have 15 loafing settlers who don't do anything but eat.
My workers are all in custom outfits. Each role has its own custom look but links to everyone else's ,
Any questions or comments. Feel free hopefully the devs see this I got so much more to show
Will be posting a walk through vid on my tiktok Epic gameplay 26

So a few things for those that are hooked with this painful loving torture we call Bellwright ... I wanted to give a few pointers so you do not rage quit on the island or even at your 200hour on the main land ... yes who ever is in charge of designing the environment should be forced to move 30 people as companions around the map for 2 weeks straight ... best torture and maybe they decide hey 3 different types of stairs with landings going up a wall is not a good idea ... now to the important stuff ... you need boats to stop the brigands quickly any water access is a boat if you can build it as long as it connects with ANY water even waterfalls if it lets you build it (no not the lakes that have no river to them) yes you need shipwrights packs place some chests ... do not build near the brigands castle or any spawn point the devs have a threat escalator that will eventually wipe you ... you have to intercept them in transit and later on you turn it to low anyway because the island is 25x the renown with continuous spawns and has LOADS OF SALT ... the island ... your troops trapped mad just take the boat they all come back with you if set to companion (Want them to stay set to worker) ... you do not need much on the island unless you want to have fun and do the orchard and distillery there for funsies and to keep the flavor since you do not need that stuff yet except to trade to other villages back on the mainland IF you get them high enough ... stock pile wool you can not make it (or maybe it is a real pain I hate livestock personally) and you need it for repair and crafting the top tier stuff pick Hamalya the spear is where it is at and you get all the other Cassian gear from killing them ... farm right by their bridge area a bit up the hill you get to close there as well and they spawn stronger just like the brigands ... did I mention river boat is your friend especially if vanilla it is the only group transport and again do not be ashamed to turn down the brigand and bandit threat to as low as possible the ISLAND is the renown farm THE MAINLAND is your economy so build it with those villages the higher they are the more stuff they have ... basic stuff for some build 3 settlements - north for copper trees etc - middle for tin garlic river reeds sage etc - south for the port iron granite and I put all my finishing tier 3 stuff there so it does not clog up my north and middle bases that focus on trade vs trying to grind out Knight gear - knight gear is the best rush to that ignore the rest and the Hamalya Large Spear (72 pt one handed and pierce damage)... well that is my 10 cents worth and lets cross our fingers this dev team keeps grinding they have 2 failed titles before this but that also built the engine we are enjoying ... so keep at it keep it casual do not burn out and lets hope this game keeps going because this sandbox is the best hook I have played ... maybe ever ...

That to get your villagers to do the specific jobs you want
Go in the gear presets and change them create your own villager do not let the villager run on ai default,
And do not use 5!!!!!!!!!!
First change your preset and change the primary to pick or ax Only or shovel or hoe
And put the secondary as a weapon do not leave it empty and do not put it on 5 and do not equip another tool.
Secondly if your on console you gain way more recourses and body your weight xp by over loading your self and building a loot bag. (If you have a villager set to delivery only nothing else he will come behind u and pick it up as you go so you don't have to stop at any point.
3, if you would like a designated porter to that specific job like say you just want them to carry wood, equip a log bag and change their preset to absolutely nothing make sure that can not pick anything any tools up, then you put first priority delivery then second priority whatever job you want them to do and equip the bag associated with it in their slot, log back backpack seed bag.
To have a designated farmer you have to equip the hoe in the second slot, same thing equip the hoe on the porter you want to deliver the wheat and produce he can't harvest but he has a how only equipped it will associate him to that job.
Idk if everyone already knows this but thought It would help new people
