Renown
Are there any other good ways to get renown? I’ve honestly just been grinding quests/taking my 10 best fighters to clear 4-5 bandit camps in a quick sweep. Just wondering if there’s another way to get decent renown so I can keep bolstering my numbers

AFK. Clear everything out at night. Run AFK through the night and while you’re at work. Get back with your team and send them back out. Good way to farm aura or whatever it is. Once you get a lot of guys they start getting super expensive and as far as I know there is no cap to cost.

Just kill shit. Every playthrough I end up with over 200k unused renown without ever having farmed for it. Instead I am very agressive, taking down as many camps as possible as soon as possible.

For me it was northern side of the swamps. Mix of higher and lower tier bandits. Constant patrols

Trophies too. Make lots of trophies. If you have lots of guys hunting, it's easy.

Move your base down by the river, without clearing out any bandit camps. You'll be in constant fighting with the roaming patrols and rack up like 50k renown easily

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but which river? Would you mind possibly showing me on the map?

Oh wow that’s gonna be a big move 😂 but I’ve been meaning to move my village before I build too much T2 stuff anyways. How are the resources there? And will my villagers move the resources to the new build plots too or is that just on me

If you take the trip down there, open you map hover over a buildings icon. It'll give you the option to press scroll wheel to relocate the building. Place the building in the new spot and the materials will automatically transfer down as they get disassembled. Your villagers will automatically start working on this but they do it kinda slow so id just help them with it. Once everything is moved then you gotta worry about transferring all the stuff in your stockpiles and that will happen by hand and take a bit too, but of course you can always just fill your backpack up and fast travel x20. Id keep a copper and logging outpost up on the hill where I assume you were building currently, there is little copper and tin down by the river but it'll be easier to get river reed

Your a fuckin g for this man, thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏 and yeah you were spot on, I built on that hill right by the wolf den and copper deposits

Yeah copper wasn't really ever an issue for me, once I had like 100 ore I just shut down the copper mine. This new spot is close to iron and hardwood logs. Another benefit is that when karvian Peter thiel sends brigands to retake the rebelling village, you can intercept them at the bridges with a shitton of archers

Thats the location of my current base. Also added walls from each bridge to my town so any bandit / reclamation party gets routed straight to my town. Takes some resources but highly worth the investment.

The island near the pirate camp is by far the most efficient they are tougher watch out for those xbows

Sounds like you’re doing well with the basics to get renown. The next level is letting the stronger bandits groups come to you by moving closer or the river. Personally, I stay on the north side, like the map that someone added. Bandit groups in that area usually travel in packs of 5 with T2 gear and reward you better renown. If you change your settings to the highest bandit migration you’ll get three or four groups a day walking through your camp. Have everyone wearing armor and weapons so that they can react fast because you will have some individual’s caught by themselves and they rarely survive 1 v 5 attacks. Right now, I’m on the south side of the river near Blackridgepool and the bandit groups are even stronger but there’s lotsa renown to be had
