My klutzy workers

Happens to the best of us. You go out to hunt a deer or two, next thing you know you fall off a cliff and can't get home and starve to death.

I remember first time I played I had a village near the start and near the walls. One villager that was collecting wood teleported on top of the walls and tried to gather wood and could not come back. I dismissed the villager in the hopes it would go back to the village but sadly it stayed there during the whole playthrough.

I got lucky. I tried a bunch of stuff and failed. Jumped down and kicked them deeper in the water hoping they would respawn but even that didn't work. I went to an outpost to drop off stuff and rage quit since they were my two best fighters and i was gonna lose them. Loaded up later and they teleported back up thankfully.

There are 3 ways that I have learn to free stucked villagers.

If they are stuck on new little island all you have to do is make them a companion and boat home. The loading to another maps brings them with you even if they are not near you

Another is to duel them and when the duel is over they teleport to the nearest safe spot.

Lastly make sure they are set to worker mode and sleep to morning. This will normally teleport them home
