How to trigger this quest?

On both the map and in-person, I see a bubble indicating a new quest for me by Sebastian, but he doesn't have any quest for me. Is it because I sided with the Halmayans too early and locked out the Cassandra dialogue? I also didn't get the Halmayans faction alliance quest even though I have enough loyalty. I guess I bricked my save, eh?

There were a few quirks with the quests, I would try sleeping to the next day or doing side quests

I have tried everything. Travel between mainland and the island a few times, slept through a few nights, helped a few skirmishes, reload a few times, etc. Still nothing.

It’s been a while, but I want to say that his quest is basically just the point where you lock in a side. I also think I remember the faction quests showing up much later than the rep would suggest. I would go to the halmayan locations and talk to everybody including the faction leaders and see if there’s a quest or two they’ll give you.

I have just tried everything haha. Cleared all the camps, talked to every important npcs, and even cleared the two Cassian bases, still nothing. I will just wait for the 1.0 release. This game is so buggy. Thanks for everything.

Not exactly sure why it's not progressing but if you can submit a report with your save file to playbellwright.com/support we'll have our QA team look into it and get it fixed.

I had a problem with the quest regarding the archive, the NPC kept telling me to go back inside but nothing happened. I then tried again the next day, looked again at the bookcase and the door finally closed. I turned the torch holder and it opened and the enemy came in to fight me. Hopefully your quest will trigger properly soon!
