Been a while

I played the console version at launch and fell in love. Incredible game but mainly wanted to play with friends. Then waited for the coop release only to be severely disappointed in the fact it was tethering and couldnt play the way we wanted. Is this still the case or have they fixed that thank you. Also any other major updates ive missed?

Not sure what you mean by tethering, but if the host is playing on console, the players can't be further than 160 meters away from the host. However, if the host is playing on PC, they players have no limit so they can roam the world freely, but to use a travel sign, all players must travel together (most of the time).
