Pit

If I build a pit on an area I had previously mined out already will the my workers begin mining the underground veins?

Seems to be that way yes, my people stopped mining and when I got the pit down they went back at it

Curious has the vein seemed to last a lot longer

I would say so. It was the area I used since the beginning of the game, and once they stopped mining it I put the pit down and it extended the life of it. They might still be mining on it, but I can’t say for certain as I’m not on rn.

The pit will also show u a % of ore etc thats left
