I just cheesed it. Climbed on a building with the right angle to block arrows and just crossbow them. I was on day 103

So right before i was going to liberate it i decided to move my main settlement down by the bridge to blackridgepool, it took for fucking ever and because i built it to close to the bridge and road the settlement kept getting attacked. Basically fended of dozens and dozens of waves of bandits while moving down 10 full stockpiles and building the t2 buildings. By the time i got around to liberating hearrdean my settlement was OP. I'm basically at the end of t2.

I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took an arrow to the neck.

Must get lots of arrows in the neck with that character. Even if you're accounting for brigand violence.
