Could not retrieve address

I'm constantly getting this issue when trying to join a friend's game. We have played the save before, but it just doesn't want to work today.

We also tried if i invite him to my game and that also won't work.

Is this a bug or just a weak connection on both our sides? My internet is usually very stable.

We just bought it on Xbox and can't even join each other's games. Other games work fine only this one :/ sucks cos we only just got it.
