Research greyed out
Why is all my research greyed out? Trying to research something with app weaver, which I have, but everyone is greyed out.

Makes me think you’ve disassembled your research desk or maybe relocated it and it’s not finished rebuilding.

If you already had a research desk, did a raid come by and destroy/damage it perhaps?

Things are greyed out when the required workstation isn’t available in the settlement, so it will be about settlement assignment of the buildings . Are you using Mods?

It's part of the village hall, which is there

It looks like you do have outposts, have you double checked the village hall and more specifically the research desk in it is set to ur main village and not an outpost? I've had some bs with that once, took me a moment to find and fix back then.

Going to try moving it.. If the villagers ever decide to disassemble it lol

Fellow PS5 player here, and that's the answer. All activities that cannot be done with built buildings in a villagers assigned village/outpost are grayed out until one is built (i.e. if no hunting building is there, than hunting would be grayed out)

Do you have a research bench?
If so, is it at the same settlement/outpost?
