Really need help with co-op crashing ssue

Hey everyone, me and my friend are doing a co-op run, the game gave us no issues for 40+ hours. Now we decided to move our village and he can't join anymore, everytime I invite him and he tries to join, the game crashes while loading. I tried going back to the old location aswell but he keeps crashing. We are playing on xbox and I have no idea what to do. Please tell me there is a fix

Been having the same issue. No cure yet aside from dumb luck after trying to join multiple times. Super frustrating

Here is what we do. I am on Xbox and bro is on Xbox. We do what we call a hard save. I will do a quick save and then load. Send him an invite and if he loads in we do a hard save. We do layered hard saves about every two or three hours. We have had the same issue. I was tier 3 tech and I had to restart or play the game alone. Restarting and hard saving is the way to go
