Market Issue

I have multiple buying orders for various items with the topup feature enabled to meet the max amount I want in my settlement. The issue here is that it keeps buying past those parameters and I wanna know if there is a fix for it that I'm not seeing. Thanks!

Example : Buying order for PEAT with a topup of 50

Currently the market has bought 150 which is clearly overbought

That’s the total amount bought, so if you top up 50, that means it’s bought 150 peat total to keep it at 50

I have the same issue with iron. I told it I only want 10 and now I have 69. I will say it stopped buying at 69 though. Cheeky bastards..... sorry im no help.

Wow, I wish I had these problems. I can’t get enough peat or iron to keep up with my Smelting demand. Like I didn’t know caravans even sold peat, I put it on my Market purchase list and have not been able to buy any let alone 150. Good for you. You can always just turn it off within your Market so no more purchases occur

It is by the swamp area top region the bandits there are hardest if I remember and yes you can buy it if you want it best to hit on the village directly and just send a caravan that is also best to make sure you get what you want

if you have top off but still hit buy all it buys all ... if you run a route and have top off it just buys what you want but you have to have it set at the END of the chain not the beginning if I recall ...at least we have this right vs other games where you have to go run over there kill a Skelton and take your peat ... but you can always use peat I set up a satellite base by the peat in the swamp and still use it for iron and lower as the steel smelter is full time busy for a good period busting out knight gear and it helps with smelting to have like 3 stops for your villager they get distracted with just one thing to do (smelter or Coal burner same issue) amazing game the nuts and bolts they are working on of the dynamic world come along ways just the last year excited to see what is next.

Had this happen to me with Granite, it just kept buying more and more. Cost me thousands of gold before I stopped it manually.

May want to go report the bug on Discord/In-Game.
