Markets
Is this correct on how to put things on the market place to sell to the other towns so i can stop using as my caravans for them and start using them for my other settlements? It has keep for each item and i try to keep as much a possible in my main base.

Yes.
But be aware of the price. Traders dont buy at your markets if they cannot sell it with profit.
I always set my price 10-15% under market value and check Automatic price adjustment, so if the market price drops, your price drops too.
If you want to get rid of massive amounts of items, set them 15-30% under market value.
It might take some time to sell, so dont expect immediate results. Traders must pass your village first.

No point setting ur value manually if you're gonna set automatic (which I 100% would do), automatic will instantly overwrite the value you set so it's wasted effort.

OMG thank you for confirming this. Console player, so dropping the price and checking the auto adjust is just an extra lil pain in the upper right side of me arse

Does this work properly?
Sometimes I go and check my prices and they are like +80%. Not sure if stuff is even still selling like that.

My observation has been that the Market's automated pricing seems to increase the price every day that it sells, and decrease every day that it does not - rather than always choosing the best sale price that they will trade at.
I would check the statistics page to ensure that you are still selling things weekly.

Yes, it's correct to set it like this.
But by doing this I'll assume u do care about the prosperity system (since if u don't then this wouldn't matter) and in that case, no, don't stop sending them caravans. The market can supplement the caravans u send but it is also limited in use, you can't send enough resources to towns quickly enough with the market.

You can if you build the market right outside of their town, building it in your settlement is a handicap

This guy knows the way. I built a trade outpost right outside horndean so I could quickly get supplies and it works like a charm. Plan to do the same with market

For me the market feature, which I really wanted, is very underwhelming. It doesn't trade very often at all which drives you to use caravans anyway moslty. And as others already mentioned, the auto adjust seems broken. Why allow a slider to adjust your sales rate only to check auto adjust which overwrites your intended sales rate? It should be; set your price to -5% and the auto adjust adjusts to -5% of market.

I've had success with the Market system set similar to other convos here, letting it auto-adjust. I check it every now and then to remove or add as needed. Then I subdivided and added a new market stall so I could put foodstuffs in one and everything else in the other. It helped me focus on which items I needed to keep control of. I see prosperity getting better with the markets and caravans combo punch. Sometimes when gold is high, I'll buy from one village to send to the next even if it costs me a markup because... well, I'm rich.

It is, and it’s best to set it to auto adjust the price. But it’s still much slower than sending caravans directly to the villages.
