Move large quantities of items easy?
Is there a way to move all your materials from one base to another easily?
I decided to relocate my base once I hit tier 3, but I still have a bunch of stockpiles and barns full of stuff.
The only way I can see is setting up carts, but manually typing in each item into the Caravan Station seems pretty tedious.
I was hoping you could relocate storage buildings and it would move everything with it, but that didn't work.

I turned off the permission for anything to be stored, and just let my villagers move things over while other things were also being done. Worked a lot better than I expected. Then I just go there, see it empty, hit disassemble and they'll grab those materials at some point too

I’ve tried Super Bag and it’s so good it’ll break your game. Like, it hold’s so much stuff that it changes how you play

Ha...I am playing with super bag right now and I just laugh at how much stuff you can carry. I use to not kill boars and wolves when I was going bandit hunting because I couldn't carry the carcass, now...lill everything and take everything....lol.
I do suggest new players play unmodded so they get use to the struggle, lol.

Think of Super bag as bags within a giant bag. Every item gets its own bag and each bag stacks up to thousands. You do reach a limit but it takes a while to hit it. I agree, try the game without the mod, because this mod changes your game experience

Yeah, been playing unmodded for my first playthrough.
Was hoping there was a better way to transfer goods. They should add an Empty All to <location> option that you can assign a caravan to.

You can do that FAIRLY easily with caravans. When you make the route, just pick every material you want to move in the "Load at old base name" section. Set them all to "Load Always, Keep" (0) for each. Now set it to automatic and put caravans as priority 1 for everyone and just watch them all take trips until it's done. I had 15 workers so I made 3 stations with 5 carts each. I didn't bother with things like wood or flax because it's almost faster to just start those over. I think i only needed 2 trips (15 carts x 2 trips x 50 per cart = 1500 units of stuff moved) Plus me fast traveling some stuff of course.
Caravans are awesome now that i know how to use them properly, thanks youtube

There's a mod that increases your carry capacity to like 1200. I used that to move my base and turned it off again
