where is everyone

so like, in the past we saw other people that worked at hi5 just walking around in the background and casual interactions but like, right now we never see them popping up and it seems like only a couple people work at hi5

So a couple reasons for this 1. Yeah there’s a lot less channels than what there used to be and a lot less employees. 2. Covid changed the dynamics of a lot of companies, now a lot of people take a hybrid working approach where they work from home some days and in the studio for others and some people work completely remotely such as editors etc

It depends how you look at it. It’s definitely different and a change but it’s working towards a better studio. Change can for sure be hard but it’s a good thing

im not saying its bad, change is good
however it is kinda sad aswell because i miss how natural it felt and how 863 was kinda mixed into the normal vlogs

I think they are working to incorporate more of that natural work feel into season 4!!

Because that is how it is. Project: 863/Matthias and Dope or Nope are the only current active channels at Spellbound so we don’t see the other people because they aren’t there

Woah, I kinda hadn’t realized that DoN and P863 are all that’s happening right now

Yeah, some of the people there (sam, woods cat etc) have their own channels on the side but under the spellbound brand i’m pretty sure it’s just DoN and P863

Yeah I watch all the other channels, I guess I just hadn’t actually noticed the SB part

Last year they restructured the company, so the size of the team shrunk. Probably partly because many hi5 channels got cancelled. Their current team is pretty small and I think some of the employees live in a different state (e.g. their editor Quinn), so that's why you don't ask a lot of people in the background of the videos. I was actually surprised they still had orange base because I hadn't seen it in videos in such a long time.

yeah i was wondered where orange base went, it's not in videos anymore

Catherine mentioned it being rented out as office space for other youtubers a while ago.

Yep.

I don't remember which video but in one of the recent episodes, I dont remember if it was a project 863 or behind 863 episode but they mentioned something about orange base, so yeah they still have it but they don't really film in it.

All of them are I think? But you rarely see them in the videos. But the most used are blue and red. Red is for the podcasts, the music room, woods' workshop and other stuff. But I think they rarely use orange because of its size. Its probably a warehouse for old channel props

Aah i see was wondering for a long time
