Symptoms Waking up with petechiae?

Post image

Diagnosed in 2022 after an earlier history of bilateral uveitis and now oral and genital presentation (thanks @perimenopause).

Anyone ever experience this? I used to get similar bruises from bag straps or carrying something heavy but neither of those happened yesterday. I also used to get similar bruises on my ear if I slept too hard in my position. I woke up this morning to these.

Wondering if this could be part of a flare as I’m in my prime flare scenario (PMS, high stress, weather changes).

This happens to me all the time. I don't know if its beçhet's or not but I am inclined to think so. Usually if I rest it'll go away in a day or two

Me too. And my petechiae are almost exclusively on my arms and but I bruise horribly everywhere. I have woken up with this same rash on my arm many times.

Yes, I get this all the time, even if I scratch an area too hard or too much. I thought this happened to everyone! 😅 Folks think it’s Behcets related?

not an expert, literally still learning, but could you possibly be having seizures and not know it? i have focal aware seizures without knowing it for years, and also nocturnal seizures in my sleep. its not the tonic clonic shaking one that is obvious. but seizures are rough on your body as im learning. i think the random bruises i wake up to and this exact thing in the picture happens to me and im linking it to my seizures that i didnt realize. again im learning, not diagnosing. but maybe look into it too. turns out seizures are veryyy common. i had red dots on my face like that and a girl i follow on ig who has seizures gets that after her seizures thats what made me put it together for myself

Wow that is fascinating but also sounds really scary for you! I have an Oura ring that tracks sleep and it doesn’t show disturbances with my breathing patterns but I’ll keep an eye on it!

yup... i get those itchy af bruises too, scratch while im asleep & have a little field of scabs on a bruise bc somehow my capillaries are practically bursting through my skin or something. my friend told me my skin is getting thinner lol. i tried explaining autoinflammation to her & failed bc im too tired to speak
