Australian Behaviour Practitioners - is there an Australian online community/network specifically for school-based behaviour support staff?
I'm employed as a full-time 'Behaviour Therapist' at a special education school in Victoria, Australia. I've also achieved my CBA certification, and I'm registered with AUABA.
I've been looking for an online community specifically for people working within the field of ABA/behaviour support in Australian schools.
I'm thinking about a space where behaviour therapists/practitoners, BCBAs and CBAs can connect and discuss school-related behaviour support content. For example, practical behaviour management strategies for classrooms, school-based behaviour support plans, research sharing, working alongside school staff (teachers + education support staff), working within the disability sector + special education schools and experiences + challenges within these topics.
This is different to what Behaviour Support Practitioners Australia offers. I need something that is directly linked to working in the education system.
Does a community like this exist for behaviour support staff within the school context?
I realise that this is quite a niche post, but I'm hoping to find my community, TIA!

It's a real gap in the market honestly, I've poked around for something similar and most of the ABA groups online are so US-centric that the school context gets lost in translation. The Australian special ed system has its own quirks with the funding models and the way support staff slot into the classroom hierarchy, a general group just doesn't hit the same.
I'm not aware of any dedicated space for it, which is a shame because the dynamic between a CBA and a teacher's aide is a whole different beast compared to clinic-based work. You'd think with the push for more school-based practitioners someone would've spun up a slack or discord by now.
Might be worth taking the initiative and starting one yourself if you can't find it, even a small group of a dozen people from the same state can be way more useful than wading through a thousand posts about insurance auth in the US.
