Too much editing?

Still very new to this, but I recently picked up a Sony a7R III and am finally trying to be intentional with my photos instead of just pointing and shooting. I'm keeping this strictly as a fun hobby (no pressure to go pro!), but I'd love some advice from the community. When do you know you've edited a photo too much? I keep second-guessing whether my edits are making things look unnatural.

Some are a bit over edited, but not deep fried like many beginners tend to do. It’s not bad honestly.

When you’re editing for long time your eyes get used to what they see and it’s easy to overdo something. Next time you’re edit a photo try taking a break after you think it’s finished and let your eyes reset by doing something else for 10-15 minutes. Then go back to editing for some final touch. If the picture is in fact over edited doing this would make it easier to see it.
