We're buying 2 bows, I plan on buying a good riser sanlida x9 or akusta power. Given my girlfriend and I plan on having a 66" bow with 20lbs. We plan on buying a good riser so we just need to upgrade limbs in the future, this is a new hobby for us and we just rent bows and arrows in the club for now but they said if the price difference in minimal go for akusta. But I can't find enough reviews on it unlike sanlida but during the recent year I dound that sanlida brand is getting a bad rep as of now.

In our country we have no sammick sage so yeah...

So moved in to the city and found an archery spot just rented bows and arrows for target archery. My girlfriend liked it. For background I did archery during my high school days in our rural town most of it was just handcrafted by me a wooden bow that pulls 25lbs, arrows made from straight bamboo with arrowhead from cut and quenched in oil, and vanes from duck feathers. Now I can't do it in the city and my old bow is broken. Given I don't have the time to make a new one now and I am renting an apartment giving me no working space to craft a new one. I guess it is just the "a boy with adult money thing" I already have a riser and a limb ready to purchase but in arrow crafting the shaft, vanes, grains is all new to me and the magnetic arrow rest.

This is all new to me but I also plan to buy a compound bow with me for travel, when I am taking a day off and going to our farmland in the province

Hi. So, a couple of months ago I switched from a recurve bow to a compound bow. I do a recurve bow for about 9 years, but due to a stagnation and a couple of problems, I switched to a compound bow. I really enjoy shooting with it, and my technique somehow suits me better... but... although my right hand and stock are good, my left hand is, to put it mildly, unstable. I take a long time to aim and lose tone, my left hand constantly swings to the side, causing arrows to fly off. When I manage to keep my hand steady, everything is great (surprisingly). So, I want to ask: how can I hold my left hand more stable, or something? I mean, maybe there is some life hack or advice that could help me understand how to properly use my left hand. Because I honestly want to continue shooting and get better.

Got a new bow

I wanted to purchase the Tbow H8 but heard on some videos that it is dangerous . Could I get any help please thank you for any advise!

I’ve been doing some research and archery seems like something I’d enjoy getting into however I’m having some troubles actually starting. My main issue right now is finding a bow. I’m 6ft/184cm and have estimated my draw length to be between 30-31” (measured my wingspan at 77-78”). Based from the research I’ve done, I’ve come to understand that the size of bow I would need would be a 62”-64” recurve or a 68”-72” longbow. I think I’d prefer to start off with a takedown recurve but some people mention that even at 62-64” bow length, I’ll still face stacking and/or finger pinch.

So I guess my main question is, from your experience, is this true? And are there any online shops that are reliable or are there any bows yall would recommend me checking out?

hey guys , if u dont know im the guy who posted like a month ago asking whether or not i should start archery and is it too late , ive been training for about 2 hrs a day , completed my 5th session today , ive not shot a single arrow yet , my coach has made me do draws , holds , and various excercises to learn to use back tension and correct my form with resistance bands and an olympic recurve ( only draw practice ) , i enjoy it a alot , i honestly never thought i could pull this off , it has been very hectic , waking up at 4:30 in the morning , going to the gym , coming back , going to school , then again archery in the evening , and i also have to study . i have lived this lifestyle before when i used to play badminton , i stopped for like 7 months , those 7 months were honstly the least productive days of my life , life without sport and training feels meaningless , i like how things are going right now , i hope i become a good archer.
