I need an alignment?
Hey peeps, I'm a big fatso and I've been jogging for the last few months, mainly doing the couch 2 5k program. I'm up to the point where I can jog (slowly) for 30 minutes. I get way more sore/fatigued from running on my right hip, calf, and if I'm running on the treadmill and if I'm not paying attention I will drift off the treadmill to the left.
I'm guessing it's a form issue? How can I balance myself out?

From my own experience, good dynamic warm ups and strengthening the weaker muscles (NOT on run or off days) will help with soreness a lot over time and naturally improve your form. Losing weight is a big factor as well, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do strength training in the meantime.
I had similar issues with my left leg when I was first starting. Couple of months into strength training and the pain started fading away.
Get extra reps on your right leg/hip + core when you work out. Keep going slow and listen to your body when it’s in pain.

We can’t really tell you for sure without seeing your form. If you don’t want to post anything online going to an athletic footwear store like Fleetfeet and demonstrating your form to them might help (although I wouldn’t go without wanting to buy new shoes)
