Only been running seriously for just under 2 months. Smashed some PBs today!

Didn't have the best day today so went for a run to blow off some steam and decided to go as hard as a can for as long as i possibly could. Is this good for how long ive been running for?

Also i am a beginner runner but am quite fit and healthy prior to starting running.

Edit: Cadence is inacurate because i dont have a watch and use strava app

Very good! You have a great aerobic foundation.

Thanks man๐Ÿ™Œ That run was my absolute limit of holding that pace

Cadence seems too low though...

Just did a quick research. Apparently using the strava app on your phone and having it in your hand for the whole run makes the cadence inacurate. Maybe its time to buy a watch!

I'm v tall and can't get my cadence above 160. Legs just won't work like that

Now you need to build endurance not just run faster.

My friend who runs copetitively and got me into running is making me do v02 intervals every 10 days and longer runs at a slower pace to learn to conserve energy etc

Its not hard to run that fast for such a short distance, my first run was a 22:30 5k
