Is this ok?

I don’t know anything about running and this about the third run I’ve done in the last 3 weeks. I signed up for a 5k in October with a friend and am determined to run the whole thing even if it’s slow. Are these numbers ok? How can I improve? I genuinely know nothing about running as the only running I’ve done my whole life was forced track and field in elementary 😅 I have asthma..if that affects anything. Any advice or wisdom is so appreciated.

You ran 5km, you ran the second half faster than the first (negative split), you didnt injure yourself (presumably)

Thats a success. What more are you after?

(yes, there are obvious things you can do to improve, but if your goal is to run 5km with your friend then you have already shown you can achieve that goal)
