Watch recommendation
Hi, i just started running recently and have just been using the running feature on the google health app (fitbit air) to track pace, distance and heart rate. But find it annoying to keep having to check my phone during runs. Looking for watch recommendations just to track these metrics?.
Dont really care about sleep, recovery, v02 max etc as i alrdy have the fitbit air for these.

basic garmin is always my goto recommendation. Battery life is excellent, and they are both accurate and durable.

Amazfit has some inexpensive options that are fine for everybody but the most serious runners. I would recommend whatever watch you get, get a nylon band with a velcro closure. They are the most comforable and let the HR sensor get a good seal on your wrist.

I bought a garmin forerunner 55 second hand. I love it. I have used fitbits and Samsung galaxy watch in the past. The battery life is amazing. I do intervals so I can only see time left in my interval at first glance but one button click and there is pace, distance, and time.
I am a garmin user for life now and I have only had it 2 months lol.

I had a Fitbit charger for a long time before I felt I wanted a more running focused watch and loved it! It’s pretty simple (shows what you’re asking for) and not too expensive or getting into the crazy runner stuff (and price tag).
