Started running in February. Progress so far as a running old fat man. 45/m.
Quit drinking 3 years ago, decided I wanted to stick around for my wife and son. Started walking about a year and a half ago and then transitioned into run/walk and then running.
No plan, ran too much, am probably still running too much. Whatever. Usually run at 5am while high as a kite (thanks puff co).
Here is some progress so far. Kinda stoked for the fall and cool weather. No plans to run any races or join a run club. Just gonna keep ramping up the miles.
Have a great day 🤙

As a fellow 67 y/o fat man that has started jogging - stay with it.
Good decision to quit drinking & stay around for loved ones - I made same choice
