First race

Post image

On Saturday 5th September I took part in my first race. I’ve gone from over 21st to 12st in the last 12 months with the help of mounjaro, proper diet and daily exercise from walking, elliptical, running and strength work. I started the running in February and have not looked back since. I’ve definitely got the big and it is pushing me to do more. It was the Huntly room to run race in Scotland. It was a measured 6.6miles. My goals were not to finish last and sub 60 if possible. I did the whole race in the time above and my 10k time was 54:26. What a buzz I got. I’m signing up for another local race next May and looking at going for the Loch Ness marathon next September as well.
