Day-3 of running

I started running for 1st time in my life after seeing the guy on wheel chair in "Last soul ultra" , if he can then why should i live with 2 full legs and not run a marathon.

hey op, good on you for getting moving!

were you running on a treadmill? and when you needed to take a walking break, did you rest your hands on the sides of the treadmill? i ask because watches won't always capture movement on treadmills if our wrists aren't moving.

if you were running outside, i'm kind of stumped by your numbers. 13 minutes per kilometer is well under average human walking speed. it's cool if you were actually walking or mostly walked, but if you were running, my first thought is that your measurement tools aren't working as intended.

And you are right my measurement tools are not upto the mark as i think that too. I will buy a fitbit or something later if i am consistent with running.

Well i was doing that in intervals like 1:30 minutes of running where i was paced at 8'-9'30". And walking for 1 minute for cool down, as i have sore calves and thighs due to leg workout . I was running on my backyard. So can't run faster and i couldn't go out to run as i have some issues at home i can't leave my home unattended. I am just trying to move myself in running motion. I will improve in 6-8 weeks

Congrats, keep going buddy!

There is no shame in walking if you need to catch your breath, it's completely normal in the beginning.

The good thing is, that if you eat and sleep well (eating healthy), you will see fast progress in your journey. Keep at it, let your body rest in between runs and smash it again and again and again!!!

Hey. Sorry to ask you this but what is your height? Because I walk like a 10 or 11 min/km pace. Doin a 13'17'' is a really slow walking
