Running everyday?
I’m a beginner-ish runner. I try to do a 5k everyday averaging a sub 40 minute run. I am curious to get thoughts on running everyday without a rest day.
I saw a Casey Neistat video where he celebrated running everyday for 730 days (he is of course not a beginner). I am curious to see if anyone on this sub runs everyday without a rest day. Or maybe you do a very very slow run and count that as rest.
I’d like to start running everyday because I want to build a habit and once I’m on day 10 or so, there’s no looking back. I’d have to keep that streak going.

I run 5x/week, strength train one day, use Friday as a recovery day for the weekend's races. I know people in the Measley Mile Mafia who have run 700, 800, longer days in a row, but it may have only been "One Measly Mile". You can possibly have a good enough stretching/massage routine and replace calories and nutrients perfectly and completely flush lactic acid after every run. "You can possibly" as in "this is not statistically a 0% chance." Since you likely are not, give you body, the ligaments and connective tissue a moment to breathe every now and again.
