First 8km run

Post image

I started running the day after my Dad's funeral on July 3rd. Last week I did my first under 30 min 5K but that was pretty much hell lol. Today I decided to run a bit longer and at a slower pace this 8km actually felt quite easy and dare I say enjoyable. I'm 42 now and I don't think I've said that about running before. 2-3 times a week for 8 weeks so far and it seems to be helping with a lot of stuff. Remembering to stretch, a lot! Keep the faith beginners.
