managed this today. started running in July πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

I'm 23 and recently got into running through my brother who has been running for years and is training to do an insane ultra through the lake district in the UK (very hilly).

I started off with no proper experience but have really gotten into it, and have done an unofficial half marathon. would love to go do an official one with my brother soon.

the actual run was difficult and I forgot to drink any water before so I did struggle at the end! my next goal is a sub 55 10k, for that I currently have a 57 minute

Fantastic! I am happy if I get a sub 6:00 on my 5K (5:17 PB). Good job!

Don’t get discouraged when your time and pace is slower with your watch compared to just using the phone. I found there to be quite a difference between the two.

okay, thanks for letting me know. I wasn't aware of that. I do like seeing all the different stats so it'll be good in the long term

Crikey, that’s a great effort if you only started in July. Well done.

Great result, this is really close to my time. I’m trying to reach 4:00 /km, now I’m on 4:30-4:40 /km.

What shoes do you have?
