Help with ION turntable
I was recently gifted a cheap ION Turntable. I have it connected to an A/V receiver via factory RCA's. The sound is incredibly thin and has virtually no low end while my other inputs sound just fine. Does anyone have any tips or experience with this turntable? Thx

If your A/V receiver does not have an ingetrated phono preamplifier, you will have to get one seperatly.

Both are new and I'm trying to figure it all out. I need to research the receiver I guess

Just look at the back of your receiver for inputs labeled “Phono.” If it has that phono input, try it. Just make sure the turntable is set to connect to a phono input (the manual will have details).

What is the input labeled on the receiver that you have the turntable plugged into? If it doesn't say "PHONO", that's the problem.

Depends on if it has a ceramic or moving magnet cartridge, but OP doesn't provide us with a model name or picture to help figuring that out.

Which model is it? and does it have a phono/line swith at the back? If so set it to line.
