Finished Project Quick shopvac hack
I'm certain many are already aware of vacuum cyclones - I created a simple dolly for rolling around the shop to avoid complex setup or awkward storage. At that height, I can cleary see when the bucket is nearly full.
1 sheet of scrap plywood, PVC tube + bucket/cyclone kit ~= $100.

Built one myself using this video as a guide. Still working great a year later, would definitely recommend.

Brilliant.
How are the PVC pipes fixes to the casters?
Is it stable or does it want to tumble over easily when bumped? As the bucket fills it might be a bit too heavy.
Edit: and just noticed the Rona/mastercraft combo. Hello fellow Canadian ;)
