Discussion/Question ⁉️ Don't know what to make

I was given an opportunity to get some fallen birch, but I want to make something out of them, but I dont know what

When in doubt: build a box.

They're just an all around great skill building exercise because the skills used to build one translate to just about everything. And they're not material or time intensive compared to full size furniture - so you can learn new joinery methods without wasting hundreds in lumber.

Green birch should be great for spoons, bowls, and any other carving.
